We at Gatimaan MVR Engineering have mastered the art of vaporization and distillation using Mechanical Vapour recompression (MVR) technology without use of any external heat source.

Mr. Alok Chauhan

Managing Director

Mr. Chauhan holds a B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with an ANSI in Sugar Technology. He began his career in the sugar manufacturing industry, where he spent 14 years mastering plant operations and process optimization. By 2012, he had risen to the position of General Manager (Technical) at Wave Industries, overseeing large-scale sugar production facilities.

In the next phase of his career, Mr. Chauhan transitioned into the engineering domain, focusing on the development and deployment of energy-efficient machinery for sugar and wastewater sectors. His leadership at Spray Engineering Devices Ltd. as Head of Design & Development (by 2020) was marked by several successful implementations of advanced process technologies.

In late 2020, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, founding Gatimaan MVR Engineering with a vision to revolutionize industrial wastewater treatment. Under his guidance, the company has delivered high-performance MVR Evaporation systems for some of the most challenging effluent profiles in the industry—setting new benchmarks in sustainability and efficiency.

Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) Evaporation systems recover and reuse the energy of low-pressure vapors which is normally dumped in cooling and condensing section from the last effect of steam based evaporator set.

MVR system reuse the latent heat of low pressure vapours by increasing the pressure and temprature through vapour compressors and replaces the need of fresh supply of steam or any other heat source. Because of the ability to use and upgrade wasted energy, MVR can significantly increase the efficiency of industrial heating and evaporation processes.
